The Welsh Wildlife Centre
The Welsh Wildlife Centre is an award winning visitor centre with a fantastic cafe which serves fresh home made food. Situated on the Teifi Marsh Nature Reserve this is a perfect day out for the family. There are beautiful walks around the site, it is on the Lôn Teifi, the National Cycle route 82 between Aberystwyth and Fishguard.
New Quay Boat Trips
Whatever the weather, come rain or shine, Dolphin Spotting Boat Trips offer a fun, educational experience for all ages on the biggest boats sailing out of New Quay harbour. Our partly covered boats offer shelter from the rain and shade from the sun. Enjoy an unrivalled experience from start to finish. Hop on board with us for a day you won’t forget!
With over 60 years of experience, Dolphin Spotting Boat Trips offer one- and two-hour trips running throughout the day from April to October, cruising along the Ceredigion coast’s Special Area of Conservation from New Quay to Cwmtydu and Llangrannog. Our trained skippers follow a code of conduct to allow you to spot bottlenose dolphins up close without disturbing them, and the Sea Watch foundation monitors and photographs dolphins and seals from our large, safe boats.
Amazingly, these pictures below are taken by the skipper, during an actual trip, so this kind of action can be seen in the local area.
